Jose Rico started his singing journey as the vocalist of the Punk Rock Band "Atos De Mi Jefe".​

"Atos De Mi Jefe" had the opportunity to play at the Auditorium in Zacan, Michoacán, México. After the event, they were interviewed by the local radio.

 

They stayed active, covering songs from 2007 to 2010, until all members parted ways.

​

Jose Rico kept covering songs of a variety of genres, trying to improve his technique, expand his vocal range, and figure out his singing style.

​

In 2018, Jose Rico auditioned for American Idol in San Diego, California.

​

His evolving style is the result of his passing through the genres and languages over the years: Punk, Rock, Rap, Reggae, Balada, Mariachi, Jazz, Opera. (Spanish, English, Italian, Portuguese, French, Russian).
